In Tine Hellshøj’s latest work she is experimenting in and with nature, with human nature as an inspiration. Helleshøj is working with the colors from nature, by dying, ecoprinting and rust printing various textiles and canvases. All tied together with a contemporary Geometric or Cubist expression. Focus on form and material, a strong aesthetic and the personal narrative, creates the center of her pieces… most often from the female perspective. The many layers of the human psyche, our crises, our interaction with the world and each other, are the recurring theme she revolves around. Her works ranges from a strictly minimalist, almost conceptual narrative, to a more playful language of illustrated characters. Tine Helleshøj is an artist who is able, and dares to spread her skills across many genres.

Tine Helleshøj’s career was kick-started in 1998 when she participated in the censored exhibition on national television, Gallery 12 on DR 2. Her art quickly gained momentum and she has a long CV of exhibitions at galleries, art fairs and museums in Denmark, and abroad.
